Why spend a fortune on costly hair treatments that are full of toxins and chemicals.
No Shampoo:
·       2 tabs of baking soda into 500ml or 1 pint of water
·       Stir until Baking Soda is dissolved – cloudy water
·       If the mixture feels gritty or pasty,  add more water or use less baking soda next time
·       Get into the shower and wet hair
·       Apply the mixture to your hair and scrub into your hair
·       Try to get around roots and work it in with your fingers, gradually moving it throughout the rest of your hair
·       Doesnt lather like shampoo, gives hair a distinct “smooth” feeling when it’s properly distributed
·       When you have rubbed it around a bit it is ready to rinse
·        When you are completely rinsed you are ready to condition
Conditioner: –  2 tabs apple cider vinegar add water, pour over head, and rinse almost immediately
·       If you have short hair you may only need 1 tabs of baking soda and apple cider vinegar
·        If your hair doesn’t feel clean enough when dry add more baking Soda

1.    Bicarbonate of soda – cleans the scalp without stripping it of natural oils
2.    Apple cider vinegar – works with the bicarbonate to restore the natural pH of the hair
3.    Use a bristle brush – to stimulate the scalp & distribute sebum all the way down the hair shaft
4.    Wear a hat or headscarf – while waiting for the change
5.    Stay with it – there may be a few difficult weeks as your scalp is dispelling toxins and chemicals
6.    Some say that it can take up to three months for particularly difficult hair types to adjust
7.    Appreciate your natural, healthy, glossy, hair with almost no cost

Also get back to simple, natural living and treat your hair with an inexpensive alternative:
All Hair Types – Avocado and Honey Hair Mask
Directions: Cut and scoop out the flesh from one ripened avocado and mix in a tablespoon of organic honey. Apply to hair and allow to sit for 20 minutes before rinsing out in shower. Avocados are rich in a variety of vitamins and nutrients including Vitamin E and Protein, both of which your hair needs to remain soft and healthy and the honey is a natural antibacterial agent.

Dry Hair – Coconut Oil and Egg
Directions: Combine 3 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil with two eggs and apply the mixture to your hair and let sit for 20 minutes before rinsing in the shower. The coconut oil will help hydrate brittle locks and the protein in the eggs will promote healthy hair growth. De-tangler – You can use a very small amount of coconut oil on the ends of your hair after showering as a de-tangler and as a daily moisturizer for very dry hair. It works wonders on dry skin as well.

Oily Hair – Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon
Directions: Combine 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with the grated peel of a whole lemon and allow to sit for 15 minutes; this will absorb the excess oil from your scalp and then rinse in the shower. Apple cider vinegar will remove the build up from styling products and conditioners and strengthen the hair shaft, leaving you with soft, shiny strands. It will also balance hair’s pH levels, kill bacteria and treat dandruff.

Dry, Flaky Scalp and Hair – Banana, Honey and Almond Hair Mask
Directions: Mash together 1/2 a ripe banana and add two tablespoons of honey and a few drops of almond oil. Apply to hair and sit with a shower cap on for 20 minutes before rinsing. Bananas increase the moisture of your hair, smooth frizz and sooth your itchy scalp
